A Journey Over Four Decades
Jose’s connection with the Wilshire Royale property began at the age of 17, when he initially joined as a bellboy in the era when the property functioned as both a hotel and an apartment community. Over the years, he transitioned through various roles, contributing significantly to the property’s maintenance and operations.
A Foundation of Experience
Jose’s role evolved over time, from bellboy to housekeeper and ultimately to a maintenance technician. He was instrumental in ensuring the property’s upkeep and operation. In 2021, as Mosser took over management of Wilshire Royale, Jose was critical to understanding the working and history of the property and helping to ensure a smooth transition. He now serves as a Maintenance Supervisor by day and a Resident Manager by night.
Connecting with Community
One of Jose’s remarkable traits is his connection with the residents and the community. He attends resident events and actively engages with his neighbors. This personal touch has created a sense of belonging and community at Wilshire Royale, reflecting Mosser’s commitment to resident well-being.

Throughout his tenure, Jose has witnessed numerous standout moments. From the rock band Kiss shooting a music video “Hide your hear” on the rooftop to Fear Factor contestants leaping from the roof to the courtyard. The property’s history is rich with interesting anecdotes and Jose was there for all of them. He’s witnessed the likes of Brendon Frasier, Danny Trejo, Sonora Dinamita, and the legendary boxer Roberto “Mano de Piedra” Duran staying at the property.
