According to Happify.com, “The benefits of practicing gratitude are nearly endless. People who regularly practice gratitude by taking time to notice and reflect upon the things they’re thankful for experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, and even have stronger immune systems.” It seems so simple—that even though life is not perfect, recognizing the good in it provides benefits to our health.
What are you grateful for?
We are grateful to see the signs of better things to come with the acceleration of the vaccine that will protect all of us from COVID.
We are also grateful that the community had the benefit of Paycheck Protection Program funding that allowed us to maintain a great level of resident service to our entire Community@Mosser, even residents who have not been able to pay their rents due to COVID-related financial hardships. This program allowed us to keep a full crew of janitors and work-order technicians employed, despite rising vacancies, so they could stay focused on tackling the more in-depth cleaning protocols and increase in maintenance requests now that people are spending more time in their homes.
We are also grateful that we had the chance to partner with community organizations and devote some of our vacant apartments as homes for those in need, including a group of low-income pregnant women in San Francisco. We are so pleased to be able to help the communities we love. It’s just another reason why Mosser Living is authentically awesome.
